A real crowd pleaser!
2 lbs Wardynski Polish Sausage
1/2 jar of applesauce (Natural/No sugar added is best)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped onions
Slice sausage into quarter inch pieces.
Place in an oblong baking dish with the applesauce, onions, and brown sugar and mix well.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Peggy’s Shortcuts & Tips
Many people like this dish especially gooey. To get that effect, I cook it the day before as directed. But I drain off the liquid with a baster. Then I let it cool and refrigerate it overnight. The next day, I warm it up and serve it in a Crockpot.
